Chengli Automobile Group Co., Ltd., referred to as "Chengli Group", was founded in 2004. Its predecessor was Hubei Chengli Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd. Its headquarters is located in Suizhou City, Hubei Province, the hometown of Emperor Yan Shennong, the hometown of ancient music of chime bells, and the capital of special-purpose vehicles in China. The group has a total registered capital of 500 million yuan. It is a diversified group company integrating research and development, manufacturing, sales, and automotive financial services for complete vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, new energy vehicles, auto parts and emergency equipment.

 

It now covers an area of more than 5,000 acres, has more than 13,000 registered employees, a construction area of more than 2 million square meters, and more than 5,000 large-scale production equipment of various types. It has 17 subsidiaries, more than 100 professional factories, and more than 40 member factories. It can produce 50,000 sets of automobile chassis, 100,000 special-purpose vehicles, more than 10,000 new energy vehicles, and 20,000 sets of emergency equipment annually.

 

The enterprise has complete qualifications and has obtained ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management, after-sales service system, energy management system certification, national military standard, confidentiality and national defense construction supporting service qualification certification, 3C mandatory certification, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) certification, EU Agreement ADR certification; it has scarce qualification resources such as special vehicles, truck cranes, truck cranes, fire trucks, new energy vehicles, complete vehicles, and buses.

 

1. Building an energy management system

 

 

Since its establishment, Chengli Automobile Group Co., Ltd. has been guided by technological innovation and committed to developing energy-saving, high-efficiency, and low-carbon green industries. In order to further improve the level of energy use management and improve energy use efficiency, the company decided to establish an energy management system based on the GB/T23331 standard. For this purpose, the company has specially established a cross-departmental system construction working group headed by the deputy general manager in charge of business, and has successively carried out the establishment of policies and objectives, planning processes, compiling document records, and checking implementation status, and has achieved good results. The company's energy management system has passed the on-site certification audit.

 

II. Carry out special activities related to production safety

 

In conjunction with the theme activities of Production Safety Month, employees were organized to participate in the production safety knowledge contest. The Safety and Environmental Protection Center prepared an emergency plan. During the safety month activities, personnel from each production workshop participated in organizing emergency drills. During the period when the labor contract has been signed, if the job position or work content is changed and the worker is engaged in work that has occupational disease hazards that are not disclosed in the signed labor contract, the worker shall be truthfully informed and the relevant terms of the original labor contract shall be changed through negotiation.The company ensures that underage workers do not engage in toxic and harmful labor, labor with the fourth level of physical labor intensity stipulated by the state, and other prohibited labor. The company protects the legal rights and interests of female employees, ensures that female employees, menstruating female employees, pregnant female employees, and breastfeeding female employees do not engage in work prohibited by the state, and that maternity leave for female employees during childbirth is no less than 14 weeks. Female employees who are pregnant for more than seven months are arranged to work long day shifts. On December 20, 2023, the Jishishan earthquake occurred in Gansu. Chengli Company immediately organized a rescue team and joined the Suizhou City Joint Rescue Team to rush to Gansu for earthquake relief. The communication command vehicles, power generation vehicles, camping vehicles, quilts and cotton-padded clothes involved were all the most needed equipment and materials in the disaster area. The emergency vehicles produced by the company have played a significant role in logistics support. The Jishishan County Emergency Management Bureau sent a letter of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude and respect for the support and help given by the Suizhou Emergency Equipment Enterprise Joint Rescue Team to support the disaster relief work in Jishishan County, Gansu Province. In February 2024, there were two freezing rain and heavy snow weather in Hubei, which had a serious impact on the travel of passengers from south to north and residents in the area. The company moved when it heard about the snow and went to meet the ice. It quickly organized a voluntary snow and ice removal detachment, and dispatched 11 professional snow removal vehicles and emergency equipment, divided into 4 small teams, to the provincial highways and Suizhou urban towns to quickly carry out rescue operations.
